The Problem: Low Referral Signups

Our client, GetYourGuide, came to us because they wanted to improve registrations for their supply partner referral program. 

 

You may know GetYourGuide as an experiences platform for travelers… 

But they also work with thousands of tour operators and SMBs globally to make it easy to book things to do online.

 

We worked with their internal B2B teams to tweak, test, and try to engage their complex, diverse stakeholders. 

 

The ultimate goal was to get their current suppliers to refer new ones.

And for those referred suppliers to sign up and join GetYourGuide.

 

Our Solution: Landing Page and Email Copy & Strategy

Strategic Guidance:

→ We told GetYourGuide to gut the entire structure of their landing page. The existing one focused too much on “what” their referral program was. We wanted them to show their clients “why” they stood to join it.

→ After restructuring the page, we scoured through hundreds of customer testimonials to gather direct VoC insights and inform our strategy for the copy

→ Once we did that, we applied our research and rewrote the entire page. Instead of telling people about an amazing referral program, we emphasized the outcomes and benefits of joining the referral program

→ Finally, we stood by to A/B test headlines and other elements to see what worked and what didn’t

→ In addition to that, we also crafted an email sequence to support the campaign, leverage their existing network, and bring in traffic to the landing page.


Deliverables:

→ 2 landing pages

→ 2 emails

The Result: Conversion Rates Rose by Nearly 70%

Along with a few design tweaks, we helped GetYourGuide see a meaningful jump for this campaign and increase their referral signups.

 

 

From a 13-15% CR to 22% in a matter of weeks: an overall percentage increase rate of nearly 70%.
